Services
If you have dental insurance for your child, we will help you determine the coverage that is available.
In order to best assist you, it is important that you submit your child's dental and/or medical insurance information to us with your New Patient Paperwork a minimum of two business days prior to your child's scheduled appointment.
This allows us time to contact the insurance and obtain a breakdown of the benefits that you or your employer purchased from the insurance company.
Should your child be diagnosed with treatment services, we will be able to provide you with a detailed plan which will give you an estimate of how much the insurance company may pay for each procedure, as well as the portion you will be expected to pay at the time of service.

We strive to schedule an appropriate time for each patient family that visits our practice, taking into account the individual needs of each child.
While we understand that emergencies happen and it's difficult to plan for the unexpected, it is important that you respect the time of our staff, as well as those patients who may be waiting to schedule an appointment with us.

Several specific types of bacteria that live on the teeth cause decay.
When sugar is consumed, the bacteria use the sugar and then manufacture acids that dissolve the teeth and cause an infection in the tooth.
This infection is called decay.
Babies who go to bed with a bottle of milk, formula, or juice are more likely to get tooth decay.
Because the sugar in formula, milk, or juice stays in contact with the teeth for a long time during the night, the teeth can decay quickly.
Fluoride helps make teeth strong and prevents tooth decay.

Most children feel comfortable when visiting the dentist.
Early exposure to the dentist helps younger patients to associate the dental office with feeling of relaxation.
Some children however, may feel nervous before their visit or while sitting in the dental chair.
Sometimes they need more than gentle care to feel relaxed.
