Dr. Dunwody attended Lanier High School for Boys in Macon, Georgia.
He continued to the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
Dr. Dunwody then entered an orthodontic residency at Emory University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1977 and his Certificate of Orthodontics in 1979.
Dr. Dunwody has been in practice for 30 years and has lectured on orthodontics to general dentists for the mastership program at the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry.
In addition, Dr. Dunwody participates in many continuing education courses involving dentofacial growth and development from embryology to the dentofacial changes as aging occurs, occlusion (bites), temporomandibular joints and associated structures and practice management.
He continued to the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
