You can count on Dr. Witek to use his extensive orthodontic training and experience to give you his honest feedback and opinion and create a plan that works for you. Dr. Witek received both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After working in a research laboratory at Brigham & Young Hospital, he attended Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated at the top of his class in 1998.

After earning his dental degree in general dentistry, Dr. Witek undertook an intensive two-year orthodontic residency program at the University of Nebraska Dental School, where he earned a Master of Science degree and specialization in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2000.

We offer a variety of orthodontic services for children and adults.
Dr. Witek will review your individual case and recommend a treatment plan specifically for you.
If there are functional jaw or structural problems, it may be necessary to begin orthodontics prior to having braces.
The purpose of early orthodontic treatment is prevention - some conditions are easier to correct if done early.
Your pediatric or general dentist is trained to identify these conditions and will refer you to an orthodontist at the appropriate time.
After the exam, Dr. Witek will share his initial assessment of whether treatment is warranted and, if so, when it would begin.
If a dentist referred you, they will often have already sent x-rays for review, but if not we may take a digital low-radiation x-ray at this time.
Dr. Witek will review and analyze all information gathered at this appointment to design your individual treatment recommendation.
This will include estimated treatment duration (although each case varies, standard treatment time for full braces is 1-2 years).
