Translucent brackets are designed to blend in with the natural color of your teeth and resist staining and discoloration.
The placement of braces does not hurt.
However, you may experience some soreness after having braces placed and for several days.
You may take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen to lessen this discomfort.
You may continue to play sports and participate in other physical activities while wearing braces, although we recommend wearing a mouth guard to protect your teeth, your braces and your mouth.
