Ceramic braces are virtually unnoticeable and are a perfect option for teens and adults who are looking to improve their smile. See if ceramic braces are right for you. Invisalign is an option for teens and adults to straighten their teeth through a series of custom-made, clear, removable aligners. They are a great esthetic option and allow for an easier time brushing and flossing since they are removable.

Lingual braces are hidden behind the teeth and are invisible when you smile. They are a great option for adult patients looking for limited treatment to correct crowding in their bottom teeth.
Services
Before becoming Caroline Albea Orthodontics, the office used to be someone's home up on the hill, overlooking the old runway.
Plans were made to build a new house in its place, so in the early 2000s, the house was slid carefully down the hill where it sits now.
It sat unoccupied for all those years, but once Dr. Albea saw it and the beautiful view it had, she knew it was going to be the perfect place for her to start her practice.
With her husband John being in construction; it quickly became a large family project that they took on.
So, you need braces.
Don't sweat it; you're not alone.
Plenty of people are in the same boat.
Your first step will be to find a provider that you trust to give you the beautiful smile that you are looking for.
By choosing to trust Caroline Albea Orthodontics, you'll have the choice of braces that go practically unseen.
Gone are the days of strictly using metal; instead, ceramic braces are now a popular option.
3M Clarity ADVANCED Ceramic Braces are made from a translucent material that blends with the color of your teeth, rendering them virtually unnoticeable.
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends an orthodontic examination of your child by the age of seven.
This is when most children begin growing permanent teeth, and when problems can potentially begin.
If your orthodontist recommends braces, ceramic (clear) braces could be a fantastic option.
Ceramic braces are tooth-colored, making them less obvious when compared to metal braces.
This makes them a great option for children who are worried about how they will look with braces or have activities that may require a less noticeable option.
In certain cases, Invisalign can be a viable treatment option for children, but we usually recommend a more traditional orthodontic approach for those under the age of 12.
This is because traditional braces are fixed to the teeth rather than having the ability to take them off throughout the day like Invisalign.
Losing or breaking Invisalign aligners during treatment can lead to setbacks and slow down treatment.
Still, if you are certain that your child is capable of handling the responsibilities that come with Invisalign, they can certainly be an effective method of shifting his or her teeth into proper alignment.
In some cases, teens may be eligible for treatment with lingual braces.
Many teenagers love them since they stay hidden behind the teeth and are almost 100 percent invisible when you smile.
