Welcome to the orthodontic practice of Dr. Ronald P. Kolodziej, Board Certified Orthodontist. Chances are that you're here to learn more about braces, Invisalign and other orthodontic treatments. If that's the case, I hope that you'll find these pages to be informative. I've tried to put together enough material to provide a glimpse of how orthodontic treatment can transform your smile.

The best way, however, to understand what orthodontic treatment can do for you is to visit my office in person for an exam & consultation. If you're already in treatment, I hope these pages can be a valuable resource as you progress toward a new smile. The staff and I welcome feedback, so if you have any suggestions for the site, please let us know.

Additional information about braces, Invisalign & more can also be found on our facebook page.

Treatment fees can vary according to the severity of the malocclusion (imperfect bite) and the estimated length of time required for correction.
Some individuals with very limited treatment needs can be treated for a few hundred dollars, while others with extensive treatment needs can expect a fee of several thousand dollars.
Estimates of treatment fees are given at the initial examination.
There is no fee for the initial examination (except individuals whose examination is specific for a TMJ disorder) and there is no obligation to pursue any recommended treatment.
Patients interested in treatment can schedule an initial exam at one of two convenient locations.
As a courtesy, all routine initial orthodontic exams for new patients are free (exams for patients with jaw-joint pain are not considered to be routine and require a special appointment and modest charge).
At the initial exam, Dr. Kolodziej will assess your orthodontic needs and discuss appropriate treatment options.
A fee quote for any proposed treatments will be provided.
The appointment time for an initial exam is approximately 20-30 minutes and there is no obligation to pursue treatment.
There are many ways to stylize your braces.
For those looking for a little more color, there is a wide variety to choose from.
The photo above demonstrates how the colors look when added to your braces.
The colors can be changed at each regular visit, and there is no additional charge to add color.
The photos below shows some of the colors that we usually keep in stock.
Certain types of food must be avoided while in braces.
Some other foods should be eaten carefully while in braces.
Eating foods that are not compatible with braces can damage or dislodge them and lead to a longer treatment time.
Here are a few guidelines to follow.
Some hard foods can be eaten if sliced into smaller pieces and chewed with your back teeth.
These foods include fruits and vegetables such as apples and carrots.
3. Soft foods that must be stripped with the front teeth should be eaten differently.
