Dr. Tyler Prentice graduated at the top of his dental school class at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed his three years of additional training at UAB to become an orthodontist.
Dr. Prentice is a board-certified orthodontist, a designation that only 30% of orthodontists carry, and he is a Platinum Provider for Invisalign. These accreditations signify Dr. Prentice's commitment to continuing his education to stay at the forefront of this ever-evolving industry. Dr. Prentice grew up in Canada, just outside of Toronto, Ontario.
He and his wife, Stacey, have three children, Ben, Katie Beth and Will, and one dog, Holly Peanut Butter. In his off time, Dr. Prentice can be found cheering on his kids' sports fields, on the trails training for a triathlon or surfing and fishing at the lake. Gently clean your retainer with a toothbrush and toothpaste in lukewarm (never hot) water.
