Dr. Mortensen is a Utah native and a 2nd generation dentist.
After graduating from Taylorsville High School he began his education at the University of Utah majoring in Medical Biology.
He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he graduated 2nd in his class, with honors.
He went on to complete his orthodontic residency and received his specialty certificate from St. Louis University where he also received his Master's degree in Dental Science.
