Services
Dr. Jo is a graduate of Loma Linda University and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
He is an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics for the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and has been providing clinical supervision at the graduate orthodontic clinic for over 20 years.
He has been recognized for his service to the people of Korea by the American Dental Association, and has served the underprivileged through local and international dental mission trips.
In cases where early intervention is required, Dr. Jo offers first phase treatment to our younger patients.
These smaller scale treatments may last anywhere from 6 to 15 months, and help correct such issues where the potential of lasting damage to permanent teeth is a threat, such as crossbite.
The earlier we catch problems with your child's bite, the simpler they are to fix.
The results are often better than if we wait and will require significantly less work.
We may not need to keep braces on your child for as long when they are younger, which means less expense for you.
We know how scary visiting the orthodontist can be, especially the first time.
Not only do you have paperwork to fill out and insurance to sort out, but also many people have an overwhelming fear of the dentist and orthodontist.
Because of this, we work hard to offer our patients a welcoming and comfortable office.
We also have a wonderful staff dedicated to helping you and giving you a good visit every time that you step through our doors.
Before you come in, don't hesitate to ask any of our staff members any questions or voice your concerns.
MediCal has a very specific exam, which involves the doctor documenting the presence of varying conditions of the teeth, each of which is assigned a certain point value.
If you qualify at 26 points or above, have no baby teeth, and are between the ages of 13-20, we can ask MediCal to approve your case.
If they do, they cover 100% of the treatment costs.
In addition, there are certain automatically qualifying conditions, such as cleft palate.
Appointments are REQUIRED.
We are a busy office and cannot easily accommodate walk-in visits.
If you are looking for mouse and keyboard alternatives, speech recognition software such as Dragon Naturally Speaking may help you navigate web pages and online services.
This software allows the user to move focus around a web page or application screen through voice controls.
If the recommendations above do not meet your needs, we invite you to contact us for assistance.
