Dr. Wayne Woods attended the University of Houston where he received a bachelor's degree in Biology.
He then followed his childhood dream of becoming a dentist and attended Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his Degree in Dentistry.
Dr. Woods remained at Baylor College of Dentistry for 12 years as a highly respected Clinical Instructor in the Department of Restorative Sciences, and was later promoted to an Associate Professor position.
During his tenure at Baylor, he was honored to receive the "Teacher of the Year" award which is chosen by the students.
He then followed his childhood dream of becoming a dentist and attended Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his Degree in Dentistry.

On your first visit to our office, you will have the opportunity to personally discuss your specific orthodontic concerns with Dr. Woods.
He will perform a thorough orthodontic exam and determine the best treatment plan to meet your needs.
You will be provided with a projected treatment timeline and treatment cost.
Payment options will also be discussed at the Initial Exam.
Once you and Dr. Woods have determined that you are ready to begin orthodontic treatment, your next appointment will be orthodontic records.
He will perform a thorough orthodontic exam and determine the best treatment plan to meet your needs.

Insurance: If you have orthodontic insurance that will be covering any portion of your orthodontic treatment, our office staff is happy to help with filing insurance claims and paperwork on your behalf.

We use the Empower brand of metal brackets made by American Orthodontics.
The Empower brackets are comfortable to wear and are extremely effective and efficient in moving and aligning teeth.
They have a door on the bracket that helps to hold the wire in place.
Many patients choose to "dress-up" their metal brackets with the addition of colored elastics to make them more customizable.
