He and Jill are currently spending their time with frequent visits to Lakewood, WA, where their daughter Eden lives, enjoying time at the gym, and catching up on yard work!
While we miss having Dr. Beesley with us daily, he is a fixture at the office, often popping in to visit, feed the birds, or to be seen as a patient.

Dr. Struby completed his undergraduate studies at Creighton University, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Medical Physics.
After graduation, he worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska conducting osteoporosis research.
A Bluejay, through and through, Dr. Struby continued his education at Creighton University, receiving his doctorate of dental surgery from Creighton's highly acclaimed dental school.
There, he excelled as a member of the Dean's List and was awarded the C.C. Mabel Criss Memorial Scholarship.
After graduation, he worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska conducting osteoporosis research.

Dr. Jamie Smith was born and raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California.
She received her B.S. degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Portland before earning her dental degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dr. Smith furthered her dental education at UCLA, by completing a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program focusing on complex restorative and implant dentistry.
Always committed to continued education, Dr. Smith continues her education as a member of the Frank Spear Study Club - a group dedicated to lifelong learning.

As the first woman orthodontist practicing in the Reno/Sparks area to call Northern Nevada home, Dr. Struby is a third generation Nevadan, who is proud of her family's contribution to our state.
Dr. Struby was born and raised in southern Nevada.
After graduating from Bishop Gorman High School, Dr. Struby ventured to University of Portland for her undergraduate studies.
She has been providing exceptional orthodontic treatment to her patients for over 15 years.

Ok so I'm biased because my Wife works there but really I've seen some good Dentists over the years... SMD really shines! I just had some pretty major reconstructive surgery. The procedure was painless, Recovery painless, Seriously I know a lot of people put off going to the Dentist but I've felt more pain giving our puppies their snacks than this!
No stress... happy people... And what a beautiful office! I am so proud of these guys! South Meadows is the best! A+++

I have an autoimmune disease that eliminates saliva in my mouth. It creates tremendous issues with tooth decay, so I get to visit the dentist and hygienist every 3-months! No longer do I dread my dental visits because of Dr. Struby and his staff. I get nitrous to calm me even when I have cleanings!! I have massive crowns (17) because having no saliva results in the disintegration of my tooth enamel. Dr. Struby has a very calm, confident and personal way of walking me through every procedure. I would go no where else. Try South Meadows Dental and you will go nowhere else!!

I have been a patient since 1992. In fact, my husband and our son have been patients there just as long. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. Whenever I have a filing or major dental work; I always get a follow-up phone call in the evening checking to see how I am doing. The staff is friendly, and their schedule is accommodating.
