Dr. Peterson grew up in North Ogden, Utah, but decided snow is overrated and migrated to sunny Arizona to start his career.
It only took one winter to convince him to stay forever!
Before escaping the cold he graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a bachelor's degree in biology.
He then attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and received multiple other scholarships.
He continued his studies at Loma Linda University, where he specialized in orthodontics and received his master's degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
