A second-generation dentist, Dr. Melissa Connell has always loved dentistry.
She earned her dental degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and went on to work as a dentist on the Navajo reservation for over two years.
While there, she earned the Isolated Hardship award and found she loved working with children.

Her research, which focused on the efficacy of the Invisalign system and its attachment types, was accepted for publication in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO), the world's leading orthodontic journal.
