He received his DMD degree at UMDNJ-Rutgers Dental School.
After dental school he followed his passion for working with children by completing a two year residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
He also rotated through the Rose F Kennedy Center where he had specialized training in treating patients with special needs.
His co-residents and attending faculty elected him to become chief resident in his last year.
