My father, whom I have always looked up to, was a dentist.
He was a caregiver and helped others through his work and I was drawn to do the same.
That said, I excelled at math in high school and also got into computers.
Once at college, I was directed to engineering and I graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree.
I enjoyed the math and science associated with engineering and worked in the field for six years, but found myself drawn to dentistry.
I returned to school, completed my dental and orthodontics degrees.
